February Happenings...

February happenings have been plenty and full as always it seems like lately. Some of the biggest things that have happened this month have also been very emotional for me. So we start off with the first week or so of the month. My baby girl Meg turned 12 on the 8th. Yes I am still a little teary eyed about it. I was looking at her picture book and she was so cute and round as a baby. She didn't have much hair but what she did have was very blond. In some of our family pictures she would have two cute little pig tails in her hair and only because of the bows that I put in her hair is the only reason you can tell she had some hair. She had the cutest round smile. I look at her now and still see that cute girl but now it is a different cute, a more mature cute and her smile still as cute as ever. She had a birthday week this year, it seemed that everyday for a week we had a party or dinner going on for her (she deserved every celebration she had). When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday all she wanted was her temple recommend. Boy, I am so blessed to have such an amazing daughter. On Sunday the 12th of February as parents Lynn and I had a day you dream off, the feeling of the spirit in our family was more than words could describe. We started in the morning after fasting for a day, at 9:30 am Lynn, I and Josh went and Josh got his patriarchal blessing. After listening to his blessing I just hope I can stay worthy as Josh's mom, the Lord has big plans for Josh and Josh is up to the task. Again how blessed am I to have such an amazing son. Afterwards we went to church and Meg went to young women's for the first time. Yes, I did cry all day in fact (it was a good cry, a cry of I can't believe my family is growing up so fast). That evening we went to New Beginnings with Meg. Now that brings us to our newest happening in the Squire house hold, today February 22nd Josh got his driver licence, he is official I don't have to be in the car with him anymore (YEAH)!!! Now if Trav would just study a little he could have his learns permit anytime this month. I just have to end by saying, I love my family, I have been so blessed, I have been blessed with a husband that I love more than words can say and I know he loves me just as much. I have be blessed with children that know the gospel is true and work hard everyday to stay worthy of the blessings that come from working hard. Our family has been very blessed through the years and I know it is the Lord and my Savior who has provided those blessing.
