Teenage boys, got to love them right?

Some days you feel like why, why, why? Like why did I think having two babies close together would be a great thing. Because they are so cute and fun and loving, they don't talk back or fight nonstop with someone in the family. When they wake up as babies crying you could hold them give them some love and life would be just great for you and the baby. I now understand why women would say "it's a good thing they come as a baby". Well these days in my house I have two fun loving teenage boys. I do love having them around and I love that to Josh I am getting shorter. And that Travis' biggest goal these days is to be taller them me. I love that they like to joke with me and scare me with "mom there is a spider on you", which seems to be their favorite thing to do to me lately (yes, I do jump). I love being able to talk to them about life and give them advice on the crazy girls and why they are chasing after them when they can't stand them. But lately now that school is almost over and Josh is getting ready for high school, and Travis being done with his first year of jr. high. Their attitudes are more like this picture... Yes your right, they are driving me crazy. If I hear one more time, "yes mom what ever you want mom" said in a way that makes me sound stupid for even asking. Or "I'm starving" a half hour after eating a big meal I think I will be crazy. Don't get me wrong I love them more than I could express in words. But I think I'm going broke with trying to feed them and clothe them they way they would like. To keep them in shoes, with Josh it seems every few weeks he needs new ones. I didn't know feet could grow so fast, even buying them bigger sized doesn't seem to work. I love to cook and bake anyone that knows me, knows this is a true fact, but I'm getting tried of cooking big meals all the time and making sure I have baked something as well for them to eat a few minutes later. Now that my family is moving into the next chapter of our lives TEENAGERS it's a learning experience for all. I have two little boys as well, who talk and act like their older bothers. So I get to have a lot more years of teenager attitude with them I do have to say with them it is a whole lot cuter. Teenage boys, got to love them...

(Yes , I am done complaining if I couldn't complain to my blog I would for sure be crazy locked up in my room.)

No! You can't say all this! The only thing keeping me going somedays is the thought that someday my kids will grow up and it will be easier... guess I'm dreaming, right? And if I hate to cook now, I can only imagine what I'm in for in the future when my kids actually start eating! Yikes! Oh well, I suppose they're worth it ;o)
