As a mom I have the right to brag about my kids. So if you don't want to here me brag, than don't finish reading this post! I just want to start by saying I know it's hard to be a teenager these days. I know my children will go though things I never even thought of as a teen. But today I am very thankful for my boys, they are such faithful, strong young men. They are helpful and mindful and don't seem to be bothered with giving into the crowd. Don't get me wrong they are popular, and with Trav it seems that we are always talking to him about not giving into the girls that are always chasing him about being their boyfriend. I am a firm believer in not having a girlfriend, boyfriend relationship until your home from a mission. I believe in having fun and dating a lot of different people, soon enough you will be with just one. Being a teenager only comes once in your life (thankfully) so have fun. All to soon you will have to think about more than just you. I'm so thankful that even though I am not a very good mom, I must have some good in me because my boys talk to me and even cry on my shoulder sometimes about what is happening in their lives. They both like to attend church and even share their love of the gospel with their family and others. I'm thankful it's not something that they do because they have to, but because they want to. I'm thankful that as teenage boys they still would prefer to hangout with their family even if they were invited to hang with friends on holidays. I guess what I'm saying is that I feel very blessed to have such wonderful teenage boys. I hope I always do right by them and stay worthy to live with them in the eternities.

What did happen over the Christmas Holiday?
Well as you can guess I was not very good at blogging over the holiday's, so here is a preview of "Oh what fun we had, singing all the way!"
We start by having to go see Santa AGAIN!!
He stopped talking to him after 5-7 minutes and we told him we had to go. There are other children here to talk to Santa.
We went to Ogden city hall fair grounds to see the Christmas village light display. Grandpa and Grandma Squire joined us for the fun evening, we went to dinner and had over tradition of donuts and hot chocolate after the lights. (YUMMY)
We played games...
Jake got a new bike, for a big boy...
(He picked it up fast and did a great job at riding it)
