Sixteen years ago today April 29th 1994 I woke up at 4:00 am got my hair done, put my makeup on, put on a new pretty dress, then opened the front door at 5:45 am and wanted to cry. Why you ask, well it was my wedding day and it was raining! My love Lynn took my hand and the umbrella from my dad who told me in a soft voice don't worry honey it will all work out. Lynn got me into his car without a drop of rain on my head. I will never forget the wet ride to the Salt Lake Temple not much was said between Lynn and I, our nerves said enough for both of us. Yes, I was happy and couldn't wait to marry such a great man, but I was a little nervous about the beginning of the rest of my life. I'm just glad that I married my best friend, the one person who still to this day knows everything that is good and bad about me and still loves me. Well after we were married at 7:10 in the morning Lynn and I walked out to the sun peeking through the clouds. The temple grounds all green and the flowers fresh it was so beautiful, and next to giving birth to our five children one of my favorite days. I'm so glad that I get to share my eternal life with such a caring, loving, spiritual man. You know he loves to come home to me and tell me about life, we still love to talk to each other and after so many years you would think we couldn't have much new to talk about, but we do so much in fact that sometimes there is not enough time in the day for me to talk his ears off. And believe me there are those days I can't shut up!! But he still loves me, with all my faults, yes I know it is hard news to here for some of you but I do have faults. Together these past 16 years Lynn and I have had our ups and downs. We had five beautiful children and we have manged to rise them to be strong, and very smart individuals who can think for themselves. We are rising a special needs child together with all the heart ache, sacrifices, and love that come with such a blessing. We have gone through school and 2 degrees. Buying and selling homes, cars, and many other things. We have not gone through a yard sale and I hope we never will, I don't like them. Our thoughts and the way we think is so much a like it's scary sometimes. But in the end I love it, I love being Lynn Squire's wife, I love begin called Mrs. or Sister Squire. I fell head over heels for Lynn the first day I saw him on my first day of work. I fell hard and fast, you know I am still head over heels and my heart jumps still when I see him or get a note or just by doing his laundry. So here is to so many years ahead that I can't count them!!! I love you Lynn
(on a side note I can't get my pictures to up load so reading my blog will have to do, no picture reading in this blog you are going to have to actually know how to read)

So it's been awhile...
I know it's been a few weeks since my last blog, believe it or not I have a good reason. So since my dad was called as the NRI director of Nauvoo things have been very busy around here. For those who don't know they asked my family to stay in their house while they are serving in Nauvoo. So that means up to three years in their home. This comes to my good reason for not blogging, I am packing up and moving out most of my mom and dad's house and moving my things in. So it's like moving but more work instead of moving into a cleaned out house I'm just packing up and moving in at the same time. Yes it is A LOT of work but it feels so nice to have our things in the house. The kids love having their stuff back and their rooms set up the way they would like. I have been ripping a lot of wall paper off walls in the bedrooms and painting rooms. So again on top of moving out and in I am remolding just a little. Thanks to mom and dad they are putting in new carpet in the rest of their house. Which is just the upstairs really, with the flood they had last summer their basement is all new anyway. But now I am finally getting on top of things and life feels like there's a purpose now. The Lord knew what we needed to do, but until two weeks ago I didn't. I am happy to be able to help my parents in doing the Lords work. I know it will be much harder on them staying in Nauvoo for a few more years , but for now HOME SWEET HOME!!

FHE...
Again it is Monday night, and again it is time for family home evening. This week it was Jake's turn, now to let you all know Jake has been planning his FHE for a week now. And every night after dinner he would ask "is it home evening tonight"? Everyday when he got home from school he would tell us what he was going to do for FHE, we had yoga planned, a puppet show planned, a dance contest planned as well. But when last night finally came it was family P.E. night. By the time we were are done Lynn was in a good sweat. Jake would yell out what he wanted us to do and then give a whistle and yell out something else for us to do. In Jake's mind 15 seconds is a long time so as a family we went from one thing to the next in 15 seconds, it was a great work out. Some of the things he asked us to do was, have a staring contest with our eyes closed, attack dad, attack Ben, and hold all the family room lap blankets up above our heads. It was a lot of fun and Jake did a great job, I can't wait until it is his turn again!

Spring Break!!
So for spring break this year I thought I didn't want to stay in town, so I packed up my kids and went to see my sister Cami in Montana. Yes, Montana and believe it or not the weather was nicer up there then in Salt Lake. We went to Fairmont Hot Springs, where the water in the pools were between 87 to 95 degree's. The hot pools where between 97 to 105 degree's, I think I sweat off at least 5 pounds. They had a five story water slide that the older boys and Meg had fun going down all day. They had indoor and outdoor pools, we spent most of the time outside in the cool wind just sitting and playing in the Olympic size pool. Mike, Cami's husband knew people with horse's so we spent one day learning to ride and then riding all over the country side. We had so much fun this spring break and even got a little sun to brag about. Thank you Cami and Mike for a fun full weekend. Travis, Josh and I at the hot springs, the Three Amigo's...
Cami, Mike, and Meg the water was so blue because of the minerals in the natural hot springs...
Jake and Travis playing around...
Ben in his tube he would not leave it for a minute and when he did he carried it with him to make sure no one used it...
Oh No, not a picture with the old man!!!
Meg coming back to the corral after her ride...
The Squire kids riding their horse's like pro's...
Meg taking Jake for a ride...
Josh on his horse Chance he was in the film Sea Biscuit...
Me riding Johnny Red, this horse is their most wild one and didn't want me to ride him. I am trying my best to stay clam while he decides to run instead of walk. Then me telling the man to get my off I'm done. None of us newbie rides rode him that day...
Hold on Ben, Josh I think I'm falling...
Travis getting ready to ride, so Trav was a natural at riding it took him about 2 minutes and then for the next 3 hours he didn't get off the horse...
